About this director daycare gift
A daycare director runs the building that holds a whole community of small kids: they juggle licensing paperwork, staff schedules, parent questions at pickup and the ever-present sniffles that sweep through the infant room every winter. Most days they're the first face families see and the last one they talk to before going home, and the work tends to be invisible until something goes wrong. A gift that says daycare director tells them their role is seen. Add the name of their center, or the year they took over, to make it theirs. A mug for the office desk gets used every morning during the early-drop-off rush, and a hoodie suits the chilly outdoor drop-off and playground duty. For a director who started as a teacher in the classroom, a shirt with the center name on it is a nice way to acknowledge the whole path they've walked to get there.
