About this estes park gift
Estes Park is the small mountain town at the eastern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, and the people who love it tend to love it hard. Someone who spent summers hiking Bear Lake Road, or who came back to work the season at a lodge, wears the town name like a badge. A shirt with Estes Park on it is how they say they've been up there, whether they still live in the valley or only visit when the aspens turn. Put the year they first went, or the trail or lake they always talk about, on a second line and it becomes their place rather than a souvenir. It also suits anyone who's moved away and misses the elk in the meadows and the cold mornings in town. For a long-time local, a mug is the everyday version, something to hold while watching the peaks from the porch.
