About this gymnastics gift
Gymnasts train in a gym for hours after school, often starting before most kids are awake, and the sport asks for a lot of quiet discipline: chalk on the hands, bruised shins, a routine repeated until it's muscle memory. A gift that acknowledges that work lands better than a generic sports shirt. A tee for practice, a hoodie for the chilly ride home from the gym, or a mug for the post-meet hot chocolate all fit the rhythm of the sport. Add the gymnast's name, or their event if you know it, like beam, bars or floor, and it becomes theirs. For a kid who's just learned a new skill, a shirt with the word gymnastics and their name is a small way of saying you noticed the hours they put in.
