About this laekenois gift
A Laekenois is a rare Belgian herding dog, one of four Belgian Shepherd varieties, with a rough, wiry coat that looks a little wind-blown no matter what. Owners of this breed tend to be people who know exactly why they chose an uncommon dog, and they often spend a lot of time explaining it to friends. A shirt or mug with the breed name is a good fit for them because it saves that explanation. The dog itself is usually the star of the family photo, so a design with the breed name and the dog's own name on a second line says more than a generic dog tee. For a new puppy owner, a baby onesie or kids tee can mark the start of a family's dog life. If you're unsure of the exact spelling or how the breed is written, check it in the preview before you order so the name on the shirt is the one they use.

- A hoodie for dog walksCold mornings and muddy trails are where a rough-coated herder spends its time, and so does its owner. A hoodie fits that routine.
- A mug for the breeder or rescue volunteerAn 11 oz mug with the breed name suits someone who talks about their dogs at every coffee break.
- A kids tee for a young dog loverIf the recipient's child is the one who fell for the breed, a kids tee keeps the family pet connection going.
