About this mapleton depot gift
Mapleton Depot is a small place, and people who come from somewhere that size tend to carry it with them. Whoever this gift is for probably knows the local diner, the way the main street looks in the fall, and how everyone recognizes everyone's car. A shirt or hoodie with the town name is an easy way to say they're from somewhere real, whether they live there still or moved away years ago. Small-town pride shows up most on the things people wear every day, like a soft tee for the weekend or a hoodie for the drive to work. The 11 oz mug suits the one who's left and misses home, since it's the first thing they reach for each morning. For families, the baby onesie or kids tee lets a new generation wear the name early. Add a second line for a graduation year, a street, or a family name and it becomes theirs rather than a generic town souvenir.
