About this monette gift
Monette is a surname with a French feel, and it's also the name of a small community in the Midwest, so a shopper might be buying for a family member or for someone who grew up there. Because I don't know much about the place itself, the strongest gifts lean on the person rather than the town. A Monette shirt works as a family photo tee, a hoodie for a relative who has moved away and wants to keep the name close, or a mug for the kitchen of someone who's always been proud of where they're from. Add a second line with a year, a family branch or a nickname, and it becomes theirs. For kids, the tees and onesies can mark a new baby with the family name before the first family photo.
