About this osawatomie gift
Osawatomie is a small city in eastern Kansas, the kind of place where people know each other by name and a lot of them stay for life or come back after college. A gift with the town's name on it lands with someone who grew up there, moved away for work, or married into a family that's been around for generations. For the person who left, a shirt or mug is a way of saying the place still counts. For the person who never left, it's a nod to the things that make a small town feel like home: Friday night football, the grocery store where everyone knows your order, the porch you've sat on for years. Add a second line with a school, a class year or a street name to make it specific to them. Osawatomie is also where the Old John Brown Museum sits, so a shirt or mug can carry a little local history without much explanation.
