About this pinckneyville gift
Pinckneyville is a small town, and people who grew up there tend to hold on to it. Whether they live down the road or across the country now, a Pinckneyville shirt is a way of saying where they're from without a long explanation. It suits the homecoming visitor, the relative who still gets the local paper, and anyone who has to answer the question where are you from and wants a better answer than just Illinois. Because it's a small place, the people who know it will recognize it at once, and that's the point. A hoodie works for cold-weather visits home, a mug for the kitchen of someone who moved away, and a kids tee or onesie for a child who will one day hear the story of where the family started. Adding a second line for a street, a school class year or a family name makes it theirs rather than just a town name on fabric.
