About this science professor gift
A science professor spends the week between lab prep, grading stacks, office hours and the lecture that never quite goes to plan. They've usually earned that title through years of graduate school, late nights with failed experiments, and a long run of papers and grant applications. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge that road without being precious about it. A dark tee for the lab, a hoodie for the drafty lecture hall, a mug for the office where coffee goes cold while they're explaining something to a student. Add their field or their department in the second line, such as chemistry, biology, physics or geology, and the shirt stops being a generic teacher gift and becomes theirs. A new professor, or one who just received tenure, makes a good occasion for a gift in the spring or fall term, when the semester's pressure is at its peak.
All science professor gifts →- A mug for the officePut their title or field on an 11oz mug for the desk where the coffee gets forgotten during office hours.
- A hoodie for the lecture hallLecture halls run cold, so a hoodie with science professor on it works for teaching and for the walk across campus.
- A tee with their fieldChange the second line to their discipline, like chemistry or physics, for a shirt that shows what they actually study.
- A kids tee for a professor's familyIf they have young children who want to dress like Mom or Dad at the science museum, a kids tee is a fun match.
