About this surgery tech gift
Surgery techs spend long hours on their feet in cold, bright rooms, handing instruments and anticipating what the surgeon needs before it's asked for. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that make the off hours easier. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the chilly OR, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off during a long day. What lands best is something that shows you understand the job. Add their name, or the service they work in, such as ortho, cardiac, neuro or general surgery. If they've earned a certification, include their credential so the shirt reads as theirs and not as a generic one. For a whole department, a single design with everyone's name on their own shirt is a thoughtful way to say thank you during Surgical Technology Week or National Surgical Technologist Week, which is observed in late March.
All surgery tech gifts →- A tee for their service linePut ortho, cardiac or neuro on the second line. It's the detail coworkers notice first.
- A name mug for the break roomAn 11 oz mug with their name keeps it from disappearing during a long case day.
- Matching shirts for the departmentPick one design in the Team Shop, paste the names and choose each person's size.
- A hoodie for the cold OROperating rooms run cold, so a hoodie with their name and credential gets worn on every shift.
