About this tampico gift
Tampico is a port city on the Gulf coast of Mexico, in the state of Tamaulipas, where the Pánuco River meets the sea. People from there tend to carry the place with them, whether they stayed or moved north to Texas or further. A Tampico shirt is a way to claim that coastal, humid, hard-working city and to start a conversation with someone who knows it. For a person who grew up there or still lives there, a hoodie for cooler evenings or a mug for the morning coffee keeps the city close. For someone who moved away, a tee with the city name is the easiest way to say where home is. Pick the light or dark tee to suit their wardrobe, and add a second line for a neighborhood, a school, or a year they left if that feels right.
