About this therapist gift
Therapists spend their days holding space for other people, listening closely, and keeping their own reactions in check. By evening there isn't much left for small talk, so the gifts that work are the ones that ask nothing of them: a soft hoodie for the drive home, a mug on the desk between sessions, a tee they can wear on a day off without feeling like they're still at the office. Humor goes a long way here, since plenty of therapists have a dry sense of it. The word itself is only the start. Add the specialty that fills their calendar, like couples, trauma, kids or grief, or add the credential they earned, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD or LPC, and it becomes theirs. If you're shopping for a group practice or a graduating cohort, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is easier than guessing at everyone's taste. Graduation season and the end of the year are common times to order.
All therapist gifts →- A mug for the desk between sessionsAn 11 oz mug with Therapist and their name on it, for the cup of tea that gets them from one client to the next.
- A hoodie for the commute homePut their credential, like LMFT or LCSW, on a hoodie they can pull on after a full caseload.
- A tee with their specialtyChange the second line to Trauma, Couples, Child or Grief so it reads as their practice, not a generic shirt.
- Matching shirts for a group practicePick one design in the Team Shop and paste everyone's names. Each person gets their own size and name.
