About this waynesburg gift
Waynesburg is the seat of Greene County in southwestern Pennsylvania, a small town where people tend to stay connected to home even after they've moved away. A Waynesburg shirt is how someone wears their hometown into a bigger city, a college campus or a new job two states over. Because it's a smaller place, a shirt with the town name tends to start conversations: the kind of ones where someone says they had a cousin there too. For a graduate heading off to school or work, a hoodie or tee with Waynesburg reads as a quiet thank you for where they came from. For the parent or grandparent who still lives there, a mug with the town name on it is an easy everyday reminder of home. Adding a second line, like a street, a year or a high school class, makes the gift feel like it was made for them specifically.
