About this boutte gift
Boutte is a small town in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, a place where most people who live there know everyone else's grandparents. A shirt that says Boutte is the kind of gift that gets worn to the Friday night crawfish boil, to the high school game, and on the drive back after a long trip away. Because it's a small place, the people who grew up there often leave for work or school and come back for holidays, and a Boutte hoodie or mug is a quiet way of saying they still belong to it. The best version of this gift is one that fits how they actually live: a comfortable tee for everyday, a hoodie for cool mornings on the river, a mug for the kitchen table where the family talks. Add a year, a graduation class or a family name on a second line, and the design stops being a town shirt and becomes theirs.
