About this dexter city gift
Dexter City is a small place, and people who grew up there or moved away carry that with them. A Dexter City shirt is how a former resident says where they're from, whether it's to a crowd of people who've never heard of the town or to a cousin across the country who still knows every road. Small towns tend to run on pride and a little teasing, so a shirt that's a bit proud and a bit wry tends to land well. Many designs have a second line, which is a good place for a graduation year, a class, a family name, or the street they grew up on. A hoodie suits the winter back home, a tee suits the summer trip, and a mug suits the parent who still keeps the town newspaper on the counter. For the one who left, a Dexter City mug on a desk in a bigger city is a quiet reminder of home. If you're not sure how much they still feel connected, a tee is a low-pressure gift that can be worn anywhere.
