About this features editor gift
A features editor lives in the gap between the writers and the deadline, deciding which pitches get space, shaping long stories, and fielding the late-night email about a headline that needs to change before print. They usually work with a lot of coffee and a lot of open tabs, and they tend to notice the small things, like a mismatched dash or a quote that runs one word too long. What lands with them is a gift that's a little wry about the job. A tee with their title on the front and a second line for the publication or the section they oversee says you understand what they do all day. A mug for the desk is the one they'll reach for on the hardest edit of the week. A hoodie works well for the cold newsroom or the long drive to a festival they're covering. Type their title into the text box, add a second line if you want a section or a name, and check the live preview before you order, since the spacing matters more than people expect.
