About this geraldine gift
Geraldine is a small town on the Canterbury Plains of New Zealand's South Island, a place where a lot of people have a story about the one road that runs through it. If you're buying for someone from Geraldine, or someone who's lived there or passed through on the way to the mountains, a shirt with the town name is an easy way to say you know where they're from. The town's name is also a common first name, so a design with Geraldine on it can read as a nod to someone called Geraldine, too. Most people who grew up somewhere small keep that place close, and a hoodie or mug with the town name gets worn in a way a generic souvenir never does. For a transplant who misses home, add the year they left or the year they came back, and the design becomes a little history of their own.
