About this manager gallery gift
A gallery manager spends the day balancing art, artists, insurers and opening-night crowds, usually while standing in a room full of things that can't be bumped or scratched. Their gifts tend to be practical and a little quiet: something soft for the drive between installations, a warm hoodie for the cold storage rooms and loading docks, a mug that stays on the desk through the seventh meeting of the week. What lands best is the detail that shows you know the job. Keep the word manager and add the gallery name, the artist they're currently working with, or the year they opened their first show. Then the shirt or mug becomes theirs, and the next time someone asks what they do, the answer is printed right on their chest.
All manager gallery gifts →- A tee for opening nightsPut the word manager on a dark tee, and add the gallery name on the second line for a shirt that works at the opening and the afterparty.
- A hoodie for the storage roomsGalleries run cold between installations, so a hoodie with their title is useful every day of the year.
- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with their name and role keeps the coffee warm through the paperwork that follows every show.
- Matching shirts for the gallery teamPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the staff names. Everyone gets their own shirt in their own size.
