About this ninnekah gift
Ninnekah is a small town in Grady County, Oklahoma, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. Small towns mean everyone knows the high school team, the grain elevator, and which church bake sale is worth showing up for. A shirt with Ninnekah on it is how a former resident says they're still from there, whether they're in Oklahoma City now or two states away. Because the town is small, the name itself does a lot of work, and a second line for a graduating class, a family name, or a year they lived there makes it personal. For a parent whose kids are growing up somewhere else, a Ninnekah hoodie or onesie is a way to pass the hometown along. You know the place better than most shoppers, so the details you add are what will make it feel like theirs.
