About this outside machinist gift
An outside machinist spends the day in a shop with a lathe or mill, working to tolerances that leave no room for guessing, and often finishes the job with a truck ride to a customer site or a late run to get a part out the door. Gifts that land for this person tend to be practical things they'll use in the shop or on the drive to it, and that carry their trade on them. Shirts and hoodies that show the job name hold up to grease and shop sawdust, and a mug with their name on it stays in the shop break area where it belongs. Add their shop name, a shift, or the year they started, and the gift reads as theirs instead of generic. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a simple way to say you see the work they do.
All outside machinist gifts →- A tee for the shop floorA machinist title on a light or dark tee is something they can wear to work every day, with their name on the second line if you like.
- A hoodie for the cold shop morningsMany shops run cold before the heaters catch up, so a hoodie with their trade on it is both useful and personal.
- A name mug for the break roomAn 11 oz mug with their name keeps the coffee from walking off with someone else.
- Matching shirts for the crewPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the crew's names. Everyone gets a shirt with their own name on it.
