About this placer miner gift
Placer miners work creek beds and gravel bars, panning, sluicing and shoveling for gold that's been washed downstream for thousands of years. It's seasonal, often cold, and the best days involve wet boots and a lot of waiting for the pan to settle. A gift that fits that life is something warm for the cold mornings, a mug for the camp coffee, or a tee for the days they're hauling buckets through the water. Put placer miner on the front and add their claim name, their home state or a year they started on the second line, and it becomes their shirt rather than a generic prospecting design. Hoodies are the practical pick for shoulder-season work, and a mug with their name works well for anyone who keeps a thermos at the sluice. If you're buying for a prospecting group or a family that works a claim together, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
