About this pre school teacher gift
Preschool teachers spend their days on the floor with kids who are learning to share, tie shoes and say sorry, and most of what they do never gets written down anywhere. A gift that's simple and a little silly tends to land best, because it's the kind of thing they can wear to pickup or set on the classroom shelf without apologizing for it. A tee or hoodie is practical for messy art days and cold mornings in the car line. A mug with their name is for the coffee they drink standing up between circle time and snack. Add the grade or the program, like Pre-K or Head Start, if you know it, and the shirt becomes specific to the work they do rather than a general teacher shirt. Keep it light, since the job is already full of big feelings and it's nice when a gift adds a smile.
