About this sour lake gift
Sour Lake is a small Texas town in Hardin County, and people who grew up there tend to keep the name close wherever they land. A shirt that says Sour Lake is how they claim it at a reunion, a rodeo, or a family visit where somebody asks where they're from and they get to say it with a little pride. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them often know every street, and a design that names the place is a quick way to say you remember where they came from. A tee works for a weekend in town, a hoodie for cold mornings, and a mug for the transplant who misses home. For a kid, a Sour Lake onesie or tee is the start of a family tradition. Because the town is small, the best details are the ones only locals know, like the school they went to or the year they left, so add those on the second line and the shirt becomes theirs.
