About this south thomaston gift
South Thomaston is a small town on the Maine coast, and people who grew up there or summered there tend to hold on to it hard. A shirt with the town name is how they say they're from the water and the rocks and the lobster boats, even when they now live three states away. Lots of people in a place this size have roots there that go back generations, so a South Thomaston shirt can carry real meaning for a parent, grandparent or old friend who left and came back, or who still visits every summer. Maine coast towns are also where people spend their vacation time, so a tee or hoodie makes a good souvenir for someone who gets there once a year. Add a second line for a year, a street or a family name, and the shirt becomes theirs. For the one who is always homesick for the harbor, a mug on the desk does the job every morning.
