About this chess gift
Chess players tend to be the ones who sit with a problem for an hour before moving a piece, and they notice when someone has thought about their game. A shirt or mug with chess on it is an easy starting point, but the detail that lands is the specifics of how they play: a knight, a king, a board with the pieces set up mid-game, or a line like Check or Checkmate. If they play in a club or a league, a second line with the club name or their rating range can make the shirt theirs. Chess players also spend long stretches at a table or desk, so a hoodie for cold tournament halls or a mug for the morning opening study session tends to get real use. Type the word in, check the preview, and add a second line if you know something specific about how they play.
