About this copake gift
Copake is a small hamlet in Columbia County, New York, in the Taconic hills, and people who grew up there or moved there tend to say the name with a bit of pride. Copake is the kind of place where a shirt with the town name is a conversation starter, the sort of thing worn to the farm stand, the local fire company event or a hike up the hills. Because the name is uncommon, a gift like this lands as personal rather than generic. A hoodie suits the cold months people spend there, a tee suits summer, and a mug fits the morning coffee ritual. Adding a second line, like a year they moved in or the street they live on, makes it theirs. If you're buying for a family or a group of friends who all share the town, the Team Shop lets you put one Copake design on each person's shirt with their own name.
