About this director managerial gift
A director managerial role usually means someone who has moved from doing the work to running the people and projects that do it. Their days are a mix of planning meetings, tough conversations, budget reviews and the occasional fire that needs putting out before lunch. A gift that acknowledges that step up tends to land better than a generic office item. A T-shirt or hoodie they can wear on a weekend away from the office says the title belongs to them, not just the badge. A mug with their title on it is the kind of thing that sits on a desk for years and gets used for the first coffee before the calendar fills up. If you want it to feel personal, add the team or department on a second line, or the year they were promoted, so the design reflects the particular job they worked to get.
