About this gem gift
Gem is a city name, and for the person who grew up there or moved back, it carries a lot of local pride. Gems of towns often have a reputation for being small, close-knit and a little overlooked, which makes a Gem shirt a good way to claim the place with some humor. A tee for a weekend in town, a hoodie for the first cold morning at the lake, or a mug for the kitchen where they still start their days. Gem is a name that works well in a short phrase, so a design with the name alone looks clean and confident. If the person has a neighborhood, a street or a graduating class, add it on the second line so the shirt feels like theirs and not a souvenir.
