About this gramercy gift
Gramercy is a neighborhood in Manhattan, the one with the private park that only residents can open with a key, and a quiet corner of the city most visitors walk past. The people who call it home tend to be proud of that quiet, so a shirt that says Gramercy reads as a small inside joke rather than a tourist souvenir. A tee, hoodie or mug with the neighborhood name suits someone who's lived there for years, someone who just moved in, or a New Yorker who now lives somewhere else and misses the block. Because Gramercy is a neighborhood rather than a city, the gift lands best when it's specific: add the street, the year they moved in, or the apartment building's nickname. Mugs work well for the morning coffee on a stoop, hoodies for the cold walk to the subway, and kids tees for a family that's raising little locals.
