About this lab support tech gift
Lab support techs keep the bench running. They prep reagents, calibrate instruments, restock consumables and fix the freezer alarm at two in the morning, usually without much credit. A gift that names their job tells them someone noticed the work that doesn't show up in the publications. A tee or hoodie with lab support tech on it is something they can wear to a gritty afternoon of cleanup or to a lab holiday potluck. A mug fits the bench or the break room, where they'll see it every morning. If they're new to the role or just finished a training program, a hoodie with the start year is a nice marker. You can personalize the second line with their lab, their shift, or their name, which turns a job title into something that's clearly theirs. If you're buying for a whole core facility, the Team Shop can put every tech's name on their own shirt in one order.
