About this mimbres gift
Mimbres is a small place in southwestern New Mexico, best known for the Mimbres River and the painted black-on-white pottery made by the people who lived in the valley long before it had a name on a map. If your person has roots there, or simply loves the high desert country around it, a shirt with the word on it says where they come from without a long explanation. Mimbres is a name people from outside the area rarely see on anything, so the shirt starts conversations, and people who grew up nearby will recognize it right away. The product that fits best depends on the person. A tee or dark tee works for everyday wear and for the trip back to visit family, a hoodie suits cool desert evenings and winter drives, and an 11 oz mug makes the most of a morning ritual. If you want a second line, add a family name, a town nearby or a year, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
