About this new ringgold gift
New Ringgold is a small place, and that's exactly why people who grew up there hold on to it. Whether they're still in town, living a few counties over, or spread across the country, a New Ringgold shirt is a quiet way of saying where they're from. Small towns tend to make their people proud in a particular way: the fire department pancake breakfast, the high school game everyone shows up to, the back roads they could drive with their eyes closed. A shirt with the town name on it is the kind of thing a grandparent, a former neighbor or a childhood friend will wear without thinking twice. Since the word is short and specific, the second line is where you can make it theirs. Add the year they graduated, the street they grew up on or a nickname from home, and it stops being a souvenir and becomes a piece of their own history. For someone who moved away, a mug or hoodie gives them a daily reminder of home.
