About this route driver gift
A route driver is up before the sun most days, loading the truck, checking the manifest, and then spending the day on the road with stops that don't wait for anyone. Whether they deliver bread, beverages, uniforms or propane, their day runs on timing, a good memory for addresses, and a lot of patience with traffic. A gift that acknowledges the early starts and long hours tends to land well. A hoodie is useful for cold mornings in an unheated cab, and a tee works for the warmer months on the loading dock. The coffee mug is probably the most used thing you could give them, since most route drivers have a cup riding in the cup holder by seven. Put the words route driver on it, or add the company name, the route number, or their own first name on a second line so it's clearly theirs. Mugs and hoodies get the most wear on this kind of job, so those are the safe bets.
