About this runner gift
Runners tend to keep a running log, a drawer of race bibs, and a list of shoes they've worn out. A shirt or mug with Runner on it fits that life: it's for the morning miles, the post-run coffee, and the finish-line photo they'll keep forever. The gifts that land best are the ones that show you know what the sport means to them. Add a race name, a distance like 5K or marathon, or the year they started running, and the design stops being generic and becomes theirs. A dark tee works well for early-morning training in the cold, and a hoodie gets worn right through the layering months. For the runner who has a favorite race, putting its name and year on a shirt is a gift they'll likely wear to the next one. Many runners also have a plain favorite color, so picking a shirt that matches it helps a lot.
