About this dbas gift
A DBA is the person who keeps the database running, which usually means they're the one getting paged at two in the morning when a query falls over or a backup fails. They think in schemas, indexes and recovery windows, and they tend to be the quiet one who makes everyone else's work possible. A gift that acknowledges that fits well: a tee for the office or the on-call shift, a hoodie for the cold server room, a mug for the desk where the late-night troubleshooting happens. Put DBA on the front and add a second line with their team, their company's internal nickname, or a line only other DBAs will laugh at. Tech gifts land best when they show you understand the work, and a shirt with their own job title on it does exactly that.
