About this forked river gift
Forked River is a small place on the Jersey Shore, a stretch of Ocean County where the pines come right down to the bay and people know the name from road signs more than postcards. A gift for someone from here is usually for a person who grew up near the water, comes back for summers, or moved away and still tells people where they're from. A Forked River shirt works well for the beach trip, the family reunion held at the shore, or the friend who always says the name is the best part of the drive. Put the town on the front and a second line underneath for a street, a year, a family name or the house they came back to every July, and it stops being a generic shore tee and becomes theirs. A mug suits the person who wants the reminder every morning, and a hoodie covers the cool evenings on the boardwalk and the first chilly weekend in fall.
