About this independence gift
Independence is a city in Missouri, Kansas, Oregon and a few other places, so the person getting this gift might be a hometown kid who never left, a transplant who misses the small-town feel, or a family that just likes the name. A tee or hoodie with Independence on it is an easy way to show where they're from, especially for a homecoming, a family reunion or a visit back. Many people from Independence take real pride in it, so a shirt that uses the city name and a year they were there, or the high school class they graduated in, will feel more personal than a generic souvenir. The shirt is also a conversation starter for anyone who has never heard of the place. Kids tees and onesies work well for families who want the next generation to carry the name too.
