Handwritten Lonaconing tee

About this lonaconing gift

Lonaconing is a small town in Allegany County, Maryland, tucked into the mountains of western Maryland, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. Someone who left for a job in Baltimore or Pittsburgh may still come home for the holidays, and a Lonaconing shirt is a quick way to say where they're from. It's the sort of name that starts a conversation with another person who knows the place. For a gift, think about what the town means to them: the hills, the small-town streets, the people they miss. A Lonaconing tee or hoodie works for someone heading back for a reunion or a homecoming, and a mug works for the transplant whose coffee is best when it reminds them of home. You can add a second line with a year, a graduating class, or a family name, which turns a town name into something personal.
