About this mail opener gift
A mail opener is the person at a company who slits open envelopes, sorts incoming post and keeps the paper moving, often in a back room that nobody thinks about until the mail is late. It's steady, repetitive work that depends on accuracy and a lot of patience, and a gift that acknowledges that tends to land well. A light tee for the warm days in a sorting room, a hoodie for the cold dock or the air-conditioned office that's always a few degrees too chilly, or a mug for the break room where they eat lunch between batches. Putting their title on it, or their department or company if you know it, makes it feel like it was made for their job specifically. If you're buying for a whole mailroom or office team, the Team Shop lets you choose one design and print each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be a better team gift than another box of donuts.
