About this manager internal gift
Internal managers sit between the people doing the work and the people setting the direction, so they tend to spend their days in meetings, reviewing other people's work and fielding questions nobody else wants to answer. A gift for them lands when it acknowledges that middle position without making a joke of it. A tee for the commute, a hoodie for the back-to-back calls, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee they make before the first status update. Put their name or their team on it, and it stops being a generic manager shirt and becomes theirs. The word internal tells you something specific about the role: it often means working across departments, keeping the internal teams aligned, and getting things through without a title that does the talking. Pick a design with a second line where you can type in their team or function, and the gift will feel like it was made for their actual job.
