About this manager paid gift
A manager who gets paid is someone who answers for a team's schedule, budget and hard days, and most of the thanks they get comes in small, late, unglamorous ways. A gift that says manager paid on it lands as a bit of humor about the job they actually do, the kind of joke a team tends to make about the person who signs off on the timesheets. Their weeks mostly run on meetings, coffee, and the one email that needed a reply yesterday. A soft tee or hoodie gives them something to wear when the day goes long, and a mug on the desk gives them a ritual that's theirs. Add a second line with their team, their department or their company's name if you have it. Keep the wording light, since most managers would rather laugh about the pay than be lectured about it.
