About this peoplesoft developer gift
A PeopleSoft developer usually lives inside a large system that a company depends on for payroll, financials, HR or campus records, and the work often means long stretches of careful configuration, testing and patching before anything goes live. Many have spent years in Application Designer, PeopleCode and Integration Broker, and they tend to keep a stack of notes on the quirks of their own environment. A gift that acknowledges that world lands well: a tee or hoodie with PeopleSoft Developer on it, something they can wear to a user group meeting or on a Friday when the release is finally out. Add their specialty on a second line, such as Financials, HCM or Campus Solutions, so the shirt matches the work they actually do. An 11 oz mug suits the desk that has been quietly running a system for a decade. For a whole project team that shipped a major upgrade together, the Team Shop can print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to mark a hard go-live.
