About this pika gift
A pika is a small, round-eared relative of the rabbit that lives in rocky mountain talus slopes, where it gathers grass and wildflowers all summer and dries them into piles to eat through the winter. Someone who loves pikas probably has a soft spot for the odd and the overlooked, and a little gift that celebrates a creature most people have never heard of tends to land as a real compliment. Think about whether they hike high country, spend time in the mountains, or just enjoy learning about the unusual corners of nature. A tee or hoodie with pika on it is an easy conversation starter for a trailhead, and a mug works well for the person who starts every morning with a field guide open. For a parent or grandparent who is delighted by animal facts, a kids tee or baby onesie with pika turns a bit of wildlife trivia into something they can wear. You can add a second line for a name, a trail, or a favorite mountain range to make it theirs.
