About this poultney gift
Poultney is a small town in Vermont, close to the New York state line, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with Poultney on it is how a former resident or a current one shows where they're from, whether that's for a hometown weekend, a reunion, or a move somewhere new. Small towns like this often mean something specific to the people who live there, so adding a street, a year they graduated, or the family name tends to make the shirt feel like theirs rather than a generic souvenir. For someone who moved away, a Poultney mug on the kitchen counter is a steady reminder of home. Tees and hoodies work well for the colder months when the hills get serious.
