About this pumper gauger gift
A pumper gauger is the person who keeps oil and gas wells running. They drive the lease roads before dawn, check tank levels and gauge the production by hand, and log every number so the company knows what came out of the ground. The work is outdoors in every kind of weather and it runs on routine, so the gifts that land are the ones that speak to that life: a sturdy hoodie for the cold early mornings on the lease, a tee for the truck or the days off, a mug for the coffee they drink before the first stop. The word itself is the point. Most people outside the patch have never heard it, so a shirt that says pumper gauger in plain letters tells everyone exactly what they do. You can add a second line with the company, the region or a crew name to make it personal to their route.
