About this tour manager gift
A tour manager is the person who keeps a band or artist on schedule through a run of cities that blur together, handling the load-in, the hotel rooms, the per diems and the 6 a.m. drive to the next venue. Most of that work happens out of sight, so the gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the grind. A soft tee for the long bus rides, a hoodie for the cold loading dock at midnight, a mug for the first coffee in a green room that isn't theirs. Put tour manager on the front and add the act's name or the tour year underneath, and it becomes a keepsake from a run they'll remember. If you're buying for someone who has done several tours, a shirt with the year of their most recent one is a good way to mark it. Choose a light or dark tee depending on what they wear most on the road.
