Handwritten Wingate tee

About this wingate gift

Wingate is a small name, and most people who have it are tied to a particular place rather than a big city. Whether that's a town, a neighborhood, a school or a family, the word tends to mean home to the people who carry it. A Wingate tee is a way to claim that place in public, whether they grew up there, moved away, or just like the sound of it on a shirt. Because the word is less familiar to most people, a shirt with it often starts a conversation, and that's part of the appeal. For someone who has spent years explaining how to spell their town, a shirt that does the spelling for them is a small pleasure. A hoodie suits the cold-weather ones, and a mug works for the person who likes to start the morning with a reminder of where they're from. Add a year or a second line that matters to them and the gift becomes specific to their story.
