About this payneway gift
Payneway doesn't show up on most maps, so the people who live there or came from there tend to be proud of it in a quiet, particular way. If you know someone who grew up in Payneway, or who still talks about it every time the subject of home comes up, a shirt with the name on it says you noticed where they're from. It's a gift for the one who left and misses the place, the one who stayed and wears it like a badge, and the relative who keeps a Payneway hoodie in the car for cold mornings. Since the name is small, you might add a second line with the year they were born there, a street, or a family name to make it theirs. A mug works well for the kitchen table where stories about home get told again.
