About this bates gift
Bates is a family name, and a Bates shirt is usually for a reunion, a family photo, or a grandparent who likes seeing their name on something. The people wearing it might be cousins who see each other once a year, a newlywed couple taking the Bates name, or the relative who has kept track of who married whom. A name shirt tends to land best when it carries one more detail that belongs to that family: the reunion year, the town the branch started in, or the first names of the kids underneath. Those touches make it theirs rather than a generic name tee. Since the store offers tees, dark tees, kids versions, onesies, hoodies and mugs, you can build a set for everyone, from the newest baby to the oldest uncle. For a family that gathers in the same kitchen every holiday, a Bates mug is the everyday piece, and a hoodie works for the cooler reunion weekends.
