About this oldfield gift
Oldfield is a small place name, and I don't know enough about this particular town to describe its history or its landmarks, so I'll keep this to the person it describes and the gift itself. A person from a small town often carries that place with them long after they've left, in how they talk about it and in the way they light up when someone else has heard of it. A shirt or mug with the town name is a simple way to say you know where they come from. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a street, a school or a family name underneath. For someone who moved away, a mug they use every morning can be a quiet daily reminder of home. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for the cold months is practical and proud at the same time.
